one foot in heaven

a little watercolor sketch from the Gaudi study - Sagrada Familia in my dreams

Finding sure footing.

My sweet Dad left to heaven unexpectedly early Wednesday morning.  I am heartbroken for our little families. He was foundational in our lives and we are trying to stand on wobbly legs right now.  I am hope-filled with heavenly joys for him though.  He and I talked of spiritual things often and I am grateful for those comforting memories.  He had a relationship with God that was personal and strong.

We have been lifted up and carried during these difficult days, God is good.  It will always be a very holy week, Hillary Hope's heavenly birthday was the 24th (my oldest daughter).  She was very close to her grandpa, so we take great comfort in that homecoming.

My Dad was one of my biggest cheerleaders, I know he will be anxious for me to get back into the world, but I need to sit here with one foot in heaven for just a little while longer.

Thank you for your prayers (I am so in need this week).

I will post the new class as soon as I am able.
