What a Good Mom... 4 babies and she loves them all and taking care of them.... I miss that mom sound she makes to the babies.... we could always tell if there were problems with the lambies by the stress sound of the ewe moms baaaa.... before we had an outside fence, the ewes would lay up against the house because the block would be warmed up by the afternoon sun.... one night, hubby and I were awoke by the ewes call trying to get her lambie to move... There's problems... and we were able to get it taken care of... Oh, how I miss that sound.....
Wow- have you ever had this before? That mom will need some serious calories for milk! Goodness, they are sweet! I love the sound sshe makes as she talks to them. My parents raise Welsh ponies, and the first baby of the season is on the ground. I miss the knickering as mama talks to her foal... Enjoy the sweet babies- and could you update us once in awhile, as to how all four are doing?
Oh how precious! I absolutely love watching the videos you upload. I never tire of the tender sounds and motions of sheep, the new moms and their babies. Thank you so much for sharing your joy.
Awww Junelle.... how utterly adorable to watch them babes take their very first steps... and hear their little bleating... God's miracles for sure!!! Thanks for sharing Mama Sheep's babies with us... I think you definitely need to Art Journal this moment....
take care - have a gorgeous day filled with creative blessings & inspiration
Oh Junelle... this is tooooo sweet for words! You certainly have shared a most wonderful welcome "Spring" moment! I am giggling, because they seem to say "ma ma ma" right out of the gate. They don't have to wait like we do for the first "mama" word- just love it! hugs... have a blessed Easter... (I think you already are!)
Oh, how I love these sheep! Who knew? Just a sweet as they can be! My heart clenches every time you post photos or video but today I watched these new babies wobble on those little weak legs - precious.

Goodness that a lot of babies! 4 can't be that common? Two teats...is that why you have to bottle feed 2? - the naive questions of the city gal :)
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWow! Four sweet babies. Love the mom noises. Thanks for capturing this for us.
ReplyDeleteBless her heart. They are adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteWe got snow here today - almost a foot! It's heavy and wet; hopefully it'll help with the fire season.
Hugs,
