Resilience~
A moment of awe at the brilliance of this sweet hummingbird.
A hummingbird nest is just the tiniest treasure. I have seen nests built with fluffy dandelion seedlings sewn together with bits of spider web as thread. I have a photo of one nest that fit completely in an antique teaspoon. This nest is that small. You can see though, that the poor little bird's nest seemed to have tipped over when it was built. A whole nest creatively and lovingly built...and it fell over...
And, instead of giving up, or losing hope and leaving it...they set at work to right the wrong. (Would I have just given up?) A lovely symbol of hope, hard work, and steadfast love.
I checked inside and a little egg had hatched~
